Welcome to the WarFair.org home page. WarFair is a gaming convention dedicated to miniature wargaming. WarFair caters to all types of miniature wargame players with a even mix of Historical and Fantasy/SciFi games.
WarFair Conventions are a chance for wargame fans from across the Southeastern states (and beyond) to gather for three days of fun and games. There are many of the world's best wargames available for play. The games include well known wargames like "Flames of War", "Fire and Fury" and "Warhammer" as well as Home-Grown and games under development. In many cases everything is provided for play by the individuals running the games. WarFair Conventions are a great opportunity to try something new and there are always friendly people who can help with the rules.

Once again the race is on! Come on down to Chattanooga and play the exciting miniature racing game based on NASCAR. Thunder Alley has been played at previous WarFair conventions on a 1/64 scale oval track. This year's Saturday night race will be even BIGGER! Join us for the unveiling of a 1/24 scale Thunder Alley track. The players will be in the center of the track while spectators can gather around the outside of the track.
Note that WarFair is not responsible for injury caused by race debris...

On June 6, 1944 the Allied forces, under the command of General Dwight D. Eisenhower, began the invasion and establishment of Allied forces in Normandy, France, during Operation Overlord in World War II.
The Normandy invasion began with overnight parachute and glider landings, massive air attacks, naval bombardments, an early morning amphibious landing and during the evening the remaining elements of the parachute divisions landed. The "D-Day" forces deployed from bases along the southern coast of England.
Join us on the weekend of June 5th - June 7th, 2009 in Chattanooga, Tennessee where we will celebrate the 65th anniversary of this significant event with another great WarFair gaming convention.

WarFair 2009 will be held at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel in Chattanooga, TN. We know this will disappoint some of our many friends in Atlanta, but after much consideration we believe this change will allow us to build a bigger and better WarFair Convention.

WarFair is pleased to announce our new Events Calendar. The Events Calendar is a free service to gaming clubs in the Southeastern states for posting their local events. In addition to local area events the calendar also lists popular conventions of interest to wargaming clubs. The intent is to provide one place where a club can search for an available time to host an event without conflicting with other groups or popular conventions.

WarFair Considering Change of Venue |

As many of you are no doubt aware...holding a
convention like WarFair in Atlanta is very difficult to do. Convention
space in Atlanta is extremely expensive. For the last few years,
WarFair has been held at the Hilton Garden in Kennesaw in an area of
about 2700 square ft. While this space is semi-affordable it doesn't offer a
lot of room for games. This amount of space is good for one Tournament
and maybe 6 - 10 other games. Additionally, there is no room for growth
at all. The best WarFair will ever do in the current location is to probably break even.
