On June 6, 1944 the Allied forces, under the command of General Dwight D. Eisenhower, began the invasion and establishment of Allied forces in Normandy, France, during Operation Overlord in World War II.
The Normandy invasion began with overnight parachute and glider landings, massive air attacks, naval bombardments, an early morning amphibious landing and during the evening the remaining elements of the parachute divisions landed. The "D-Day" forces deployed from bases along the southern coast of England.
Join us on the weekend of June 5th - June 7th, 2009 in Chattanooga, Tennessee where we will celebrate the 65th anniversary of this significant event with another great WarFair gaming convention.

WarFair 2009 will be held at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel in Chattanooga, TN. We know this will disappoint some of our many friends in Atlanta, but after much consideration we believe this change will allow us to build a bigger and better WarFair Convention.
