About the Company
warfair is a family owned company. Specifically, warfair ApS (cvr. nr. 40934731, click here to view registration) is legally owned by the holding company Vejgaard Holding ApS (cvr. nr. 40930078, click here to view registration) which is owned by the Friis Bach family together.
warfair works for the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically goal 1 (end poverty), goal 8 (decent work and economic growth), goal 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions) and goal 17 (Partnerships).
There is a strong focus on the Peacebuilding and Statebuilding Goals under the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding.
Although not a provider of humanitarian assistance warfair. subscribes to the Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights and the principles in the Core Humanitarian Standard including the "do-no-harm" principle.
All suppliers and partner companies and organisations will be subject to due-diligence, including the potential human rights impacts, and a report on each partner will be presented for approval for the ethical committee.
Meaningful consultations with potentially affected groups and other stakeholders will be undertaken to the extent possible. A complaints mechanism with an independent ethical committee will be established to ensure proper feedback. Appropriate action will be taken to prevent and mitigate adverse human rights impacts based on indicators and consultations with stakeholders.
An annual report will be prepared based on the due diligence information gathered, information from stakeholders and feedback received through the complaints mechanism. The report will also include indicators and progress on actions taken to address human rights impacts and on remidation in case of adverse impacts. The report will be available here at the website.
warfair will follow the guidelines in the Danish Initiative for Ethical Trade to ensure transparency and ethical supply-chain management.
